Terms and Conditions

Please read these carefully prior to using our service.

  • Once placed, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.

  • All prices quoted include 10% GST.

  • Delivery time is 45 minutes (unless otherwise advised) and is subject to weather and traffic conditions (and busy restaurant kitchens).

  • A surcharge applies of $2.50 for any orders below $20, and the minimum order is $15

  • Delivery charge is $5.95 per restaurant.

  • Payment methods are cash, Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard.

  • 5% administrative fee applies to any payment other than cash.

  • When paying by credit card, the card must be shown and the voucher signed at time of delivery.

  • Customer information is collected for the purpose of processing your order for our services. You agree that by disclosing your information to us, we may a create a database record about you, however this information is kept strictly within the confines of Gourmet Courier, and Gourmet Courier guarantee your information will remain confidential. Your credit card information is not stored.

  • By using the service provided by Gourmet Courier, the customer (you) acknowledge that Gourmet Courier is not responsible for:(a) The quality of the food (b) The quantity of the food.

  • The customer (you) must acknowledge that:(a) Menus (b) Items (c) Prices (d) Descriptions may change anytime without notice.

  • Gourmet Courier will not accept responsibility or liability for any illness, injury, food allergies or symptoms you may incur from using this service. If you do suffer from food allergies, or you do not want certain food items to be added with your meal

  • you must inform the phone operator prior to ordering, as Gourmet Courier cannot help you once the food has been cooked and delivered.

  • Gourmet Courier will not accept any responsibilty or liability for anything that may infringe upon the quality and / or quantity of food after it has been delivered to the customer (you).

  • The customer (you) must also acknowledge that: (a) Gourmet Courier delivers meals from restaurants(b) Gourmet Courier is not a restaurant (c) Gourmet Courier does not cook or prepare any restaurant food or meals within our menus in any way, shape or form. (d) Gourmet Courier does not take responsibility for any meals that you find unsatisfactory, whether it be quality or portion size.

  • Gourmet Courier reserves the right to refuse a refund or replace meals that have been tampered with and / or eaten by the customer (you), or have been incorrectly ordered by the customer (you).

  • An approximate delivery time is quoted at the time of ordering. By using the Gourmet Courier delivery service you must acknowledge that: (a) Gourmet Courier does not in any way guarantee a delivery time.(b) All delivery times quoted by Gourmet Courier to the customer (you) is subject to weather and traffic conditions, and other factors such as busy restaurants, festivals and large sporting events.

  • A courtesy call will be made by the driver when the meal has been collected from the restaurant. Additional items can ordered at this time. Additional items incur a 5% surcharge for cash orders.

  • Any abusive or prank callers will have their details immediately reported to the police, as well as being permanently banned from using this service.

  • Gourmet Courier reserves the right to refuse delivery to any group or individuals who are abusive and / or intoxicated.

  • Any customers who order meals through us, then refuse to pay for it once delivered will have their details immediately forwarded onto Police, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. No exceptions!
